About Our Director

Starting from just a few clients in the middle east and Europe, our Managing director Mr. Ashvin Nayak has helped KPGroup reach more than 100 countries, through its flagship company Kanaiya Exports Pvt. Ltd. as its Director. The company has won numerous awards in the export of cumin and became the largest exporter of sesame seeds (1998, 99, 00) from India. Today, the entity is a recognized star export house, known world over for its focus on quality, and has continued to make a name for itself in the field of spices.

Ashvin Nayak has also been an active stakeholder in his field and has sought to make the voices of his fellow exporters and peers be heard at the state and govt. level by becoming a member of various govt. and non-government organizations.

He's currently the co-chairman in GCCI’s agriculture committee, member – executive committee and member – Food and FSSAI committee.

He recently completed his term as the Chairman of SHEFEXIL (export promotion council of Ministry of Commerce of Govt of India), serving from 2018 to 2020.

Furthermore, Mr. Ashvin Nayak was also an instrumental member in setting up FISS(Federation of Indian Spice Stakeholders) an organization which currently has more than 500 members and had served as its Founder Chairman between 2015 to 2018.

Other feathers on his cap over the years also include being on the Board of Directors of IOPEPC and FIEO, member Spices board development agency and member – spices board task force committee.
